ITIL 4 Foundation Course Certification

ITIL 4, the latest evolution of ITIL, is a community and industry-led framework enriched and informed by the contribution of global experts from the wider IT industry.

ITIL 4 provides a powerful tool that supports organizations in the era of digital transformation and helps to create a holistic approach to service delivery. It encompasses emerging practices, such as Lean, Agile and DevOps, and provides an end-to-end IT/Digital Operating Model, covering the full delivery and maintenance of tech-enabled products and services, guiding how IT interfaces with, and even leads, the wider business strategy.

  • Professionals from non-IT backgrounds who seek a foundational understanding of IT service management

After the completion of this course, the learner should be able to understand:

  • Service management concepts, principles, and the importance of aligning IT services with business needs and objectives. The four dimensions of ITIL—organizations and people, information and technology, partners and suppliers, and value streams and processes—that influence service management practices.
  • The interconnected elements that enable organizations to deliver value to their customers through services.
  • Various ITIL practices such as service design, service transition, service operation, continual service improvement, and new practices introduced in ITIL 4 like Service Value Chain (SVC) and Guiding Principles.
  • Seven guiding principles of ITIL 4, which provide organizations with guidance on adopting and adapting service management best practices.

Generally, ITIL 4 certification does not have strict prerequisites or mandatory training courses. However, it’s highly recommended to undergo training through an accredited training organization to enhance your understanding of ITIL concepts and prepare for the exams.
