Commercial Bank of Dubai Launches Bedayati Program to Develop Young Emirati Talent

Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD), one of the leading banks in the UAE, has announced the launch of the Bedayati program, a comprehensive initiative aimed at developing young Emirati talent in the banking sector. In partnership with the Emirates Institute of Finance (EIF), the program reflects CBD’s commitment to nurturing young talent and supporting the UAE’s vision of Emiratisation.

The Bedayati program is a rigorous six-month learning and development program designed to provide intensive training to 51 UAE National high school graduates, empowering them with the knowledge and skills required to excel in the banking industry.

The program is unique in its focus on personal and professional development, covering a range of disciplines including banking operations, branch automation, and customer service, among others. In addition, trainees will receive on-the-job training to gain practical experience and prepare them for their roles within the bank.

Sultan Al Mahmood, Chief Human Resources Officer at CBD, emphasized the bank’s commitment to supporting the career aspirations of young Emiratis. “As a national bank, we see it as our responsibility to nurture young Emirati talent and support the UAE’s vision of Emiratisation. The Bedayati program is an integral part of our talent development strategy and demonstrates our unyielding commitment to empowering the next generation of Emirati leaders. By investing in the development of young talent, we aim to create new roles in the industry and support the needs of the wider banking and financial services sector in the UAE.”
