Emiratisation
As Emiratization is considered a high priority for the United Arab Emirates’ wise leadership, EIF’s future plans are fully focused on supporting the efforts to realize the Emiratization agenda within the financial services sector.
To that end, EIF developed a plan to boost its contributions to Emiratization over the next four years, by implementing a new strategy which includes:
- Providing on-the job, off-the job trainings and certification to () UAE nationals in non- critical roles, (i) UAE nationals needing re skilling – through a nomination system from banks and insurance companies based on a mandate from the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates.
- Providing career services to expand the funnel and conversion and encouraging UAE nationals to join banking and insurance sectors.
- Standardizing minimum requirements for voting members in key committees and design custom training to prepare UAE nationals to take roles in key committees.
- Providing training programs through global industry-leading institutions to develop leadership skills.
- Providing on-demand coaching from regional and global leaders to prepare Emirati talents for board level positions.
