Event Purpose

Strategic objectives / expected outcomes: The sixth annual meeting of CEBRA’s International Trade and Macroeconomic program will be joint with the fifth annual meeting of CEBRA’s International Finance and Macroeconomics program. The event will be co-hosted for the first time in the middle east and UAE by the Central Bank of the UAE, the Emirates Institute of Finance, and New York University Abu Dhabi. The keynote will be delivered by Hélène Rey (London Business School). The conference will feature a policy panel with the participation of Pierre-Olivier Gourinchas (Chief Economist, IMF) and Philip Lane (Chief Economist, ECB).
